Compact rainwater utilisation system compliant with DIN 1989-100 and DIN EN 16941-1 with flexible manifold on the discharge side and two separate suction line connections to save drinking water. Made up of two low-noise, self-priming, horizontal high-pressure multistage centrifugal pumps from the Wilo-Medana CH1-LSP series. Mounted on a tubular steel frame with height-adjustable pedestal, ready for connection, including switchgear for comfortable system control.

Fully automated rainwater utilisation or fresh water replenishment in case of drought in multi-residential buildings and small commercial businesses.

Equipment/function

  • Two high-pressure multistage centrifugal pump from the Wilo-Medana CH1-LSP series with IE2 motor technology
  • Tubular steel frame in a vibration-insulated design with height-adjustable pedestal and baseplate for attaching pumps
  • Two three-way valves allow automatic switchover to drinking water replenishment in case of a lack of rainwater in the storage tank
  • Replenishment reservoir (volume: 150 litres) with overflow conforming to EN 1717 (free drain type AB) and demand-oriented replenishment of fresh water when rainwater storage tank is empty
  • Throughflow diaphragm expansion tank (volume: 8 litres) conforming to DIN 4807 for energy savings if there are very small leaks in the building
  • Filling level sensor with 20 m cable (measurement range 0 to 5 m) allows the amount of water in the rainwater storage tank to be detected
  • All parts that come into contact with the fluid are corrosion-proof

Automatic pump control via fully electronic EC-Rain switchgear (Easy Control) in a metallic housing, protection class IP54. Ready for connection as electronics and hydraulics are already hooked up. Mounted on an anti-corrosive, painted tubular steel frame.

A working area of 60 cm around the system is recommended in order to facilitate the maintenance process.
