The Sensetime AI Computing Center (AIDC) in Lingang, Shanghai, is one of the largest artificial intelligence data centers in Asia. It is actively pursuing the goal of becoming a "highland of artificial intelligence" with international influence in Shanghai.
The data center houses 5,000 racks for a peak computing power of 3,740 petaaflops. It provides simultaneous access to 8.5 million video channels and meets the needs of four cities with over 20 million inhabitants. About 50% of the energy is used for IT equipment, while about 40% is spent on cooling and air conditioning.
64 pump systems are in use on 130,000 square meters.
