Federal German Environment Minister Visits Wilo at IFAT Saudi Arabia

Wilo participated in IFAT Saudi Arabia, one of the Kingdom’s leading platforms for environmental technologies and sustainable water management solutions.The exhibition gathered key stakeholders from government entities, utilities, engineering firms, and private-sector leaders to address pressing regional challenges in water, wastewater, and environmental sustainability.

A key highlight of the event was the high-level visit of Carsten Schneider, Federal German Minister for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, to the Wilo booth. We were honored to welcome His Excellency for an exchange focused on sustainable industrial development, German–Saudi cooperation, and innovation in water infrastructure.

During the visit, Wilo representatives presented the company’s expanding footprint in Saudi Arabia, with particular emphasis on German-engineered, high-efficiency pumping systems assembled locally under the Saudi Made label. This localized production model directly supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to industrial growth, technology transfer, and the strengthening of national manufacturing capabilities.

The discussion further underscored Wilo’s commitment to energy efficiency, digitalization, and resilient infrastructure solutions that align with the Kingdom’s environmental and climate ambitions. By combining German engineering excellence with local assembly and regional expertise, Wilo continues to position itself as a trusted partner in Saudi Arabia’s long-term sustainability journey.
