WILO organized a Conference in Cooperation with DEWA
Wilo Middle East FZE, the leading pump manufacturer headquartered in Dortmund, Germany took part in the 20th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) held during 23-25 October 2018 under the theme ‘At the Forefront of Sustainability.’
Marking its sixth consecutive participation in this exhibition, Wilo Middle East FZE, the Middle Eastern regional platform of the German company Wilo SE, showcased its latest solutions and technologies related to water supply, drainage and sewage and industrial processes.

On the sidelines of WETEX2018, WILO organized a Conference in Cooperation with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) under the title “Intelligent Infrastructure and systems for Water and Wastewater Sector in UAE.”
“Getting the right intelligent solutions from water sector leaders is critical. We have to convert challenges to opportunities, offer the right solutions in line with sustainability and energy savings goals,” said HE Ahmed Buti Al Muhairbi, Secretary General of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
“Our aim is to optimise synergy and energy efficiency through competent measures, evaluate energy consumption, develop intensity-mapping for Dubai, and introduce abatement technologies,” he said.
Wilo unveiled three new products including the all new Wilo-Rexa SOLID-Q with Nexos Intelligence, the intelligent system solution for a smart sewage pumping station.
Also on display is the new Wilo-Actun OPTI-MS, Wilo´s first solar submersible motor pump for autonomous, optimized water supply using solar power, while reducing operating costs, in addition to the Wilo-Actun ZETOS-K10 which is a cost-saving and energy-saving solution that provides efficient raw water intake thanks to the highest levels of system efficiency.
