Wilo participated in the 28th Arab-German Business Forum in Berlin, organized by Ghorfa Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry—a vital platform for fostering Arab-German economic cooperation. This annual gathering of high-level politicians, business leaders, and ambassadors from across the MENA region underscored the strategic importance of deepening ties between Arab nations and Germany.

Highlights from the Opening Session

🔹 Mr. Olaf Hoffmann, President of Ghorfa, emphasized the value of long-term, trust-based partnerships in building sustainable economic ties.
🔹 H.E. Mrs. Katharina Reiche, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, reaffirmed Germany’s unwavering commitment to strengthening its economic relations with the Arab world.
🔹 H.E. Eng. Hassan El Khatib, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, outlined Egypt’s vision for investment, growth, and regional collaboration.
🔹 H.E. Dr. Mustapha Adib, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, reflected on the enduring strength and potential of Arab-German partnerships.
🔹 Dr. Volker Treier, DIHK, highlighted the enabling role of chambers of commerce in supporting global business expansion.

Wilo’s Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Yasser Nagi, contributed valuable insights during the expert panel on:

In addition, Wilo actively participated in country-focused roundtables, such as the Egypt Roundtable led by H.E. Eng. Hassan El Khatib, and the Saudi Arabia Mega and Giga Projects Roundtable, deepening discussions on collaboration opportunities and investment potential.
