Simon Mrad, Managing Director, Wilo Middle East FZE, said that municipal water markets will probably increase the pump business in the region by 50%. He continued: “With growing markets in building technologies and the introduction of high-efficiency pumps, the customers’ needs for technical support and service became more urgent. Therefore, in 2006, the Wilo Group decided to open its own subsidiary for the Middle East markets with head office in UAE and branch office in Saudi Arabia. Recently, Wilo was appointed as the exclusive supplier to the Dubai Metro strategic project due to high responsiveness, technical elaborateness and excellent after-sales support.”
Apart from services to investors, consultants, trade and craftsmen in the Arab countries, the new facility will also take care of the customer-specific assembly of pressure boosting systems which are characterised by highest comfort and low power consumption.
