Wilo Middle East FZE, the leading pump manufacturer Headquartered in Germany, organized on the 15th of November 2016 a customer seminar at Movenpick Al Khobar in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Wilo Middle East Organizes a Customer Seminar in Saudi Arabia
The seminar witnessed the participation of senior officials from international arms of Wilo SE including Ioannis Lappas, Head of Business Development for Water Management, Wilo Dortmund; and Daniel Busuioc, Head of Business Development for Water Management, Wilo Hof.
Commenting on the seminar; Khaled Al Salama, Country Manager KSA, Wilo Middle East stated: “Wilo has always been keen to foster its relationships with its customers, and this seminar provides a unique opportunity to educate the market about our latest technologies, and allows meeting contractors, planners and government authorities. The eastern part of Saudi Arabia is a very promising region and enjoys a great significance for Wilo to enhance its presence and experiences there.”
“We received positive feedback from the audience who attended the seminar, which gave us a push forward to strengthen our presence in this region in the near future,” added Al Salama.
During his participation, Lappas gave a presentation in which he shed light on Wilo’s building services portfolio (water supply), where he showed and defined the building services and the different building types (similar to the Wilo world!).
He showcased various applications and sub-applications in the types of buildings covered by the company today. Lappas presentation mainly focused on the differences between buildings types, noting that the requirements of products can defer. Therefore, the company needs to provide its customers with products that meet their actual needs. He also noted that Wilo is supplying the full range of customers’ requirements including products, systems and solutions.
For his part, Busuioc presented Wilo’s system solutions for water management. His presentation focused on water management solutions and applications, highlighting innovations like CoolAct motors for borehole pumps; SOLID impellers for submersible sewage pumps; Ceram coatings; EMUport solid separation system; and new highly efficient mixers and synergies with aeration systems. He noted that these innovations make Wilo a full solution provider for waste water treatment plants.
The audience showed interest in material selection, coatings, complete solid separation systems, reliability in operation, ease of installation, split case pumps and dry installed sewage pumps.
At the conclusion of the event; Busuioc and Lappas noted: “We hope that the efforts of our Business Development teams will support the sales activities of our colleagues and strengthen their position in a challenging market like this one in the Gulf region. This tells our end customers that we in Wilo as a group are fully engaged in providing them with the best solutions available in the industry.”
