Wilo Unveils Cutting-Edge Solutions Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 at Global Water Expo

Wilo participated at the Global Water Expo in Riyadh, held from 24-26 September 2024. The event provided a platform for Wilo to showcase its latest innovations in water management solutions, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the country's ambitious mega and giga projects.

Khaled Al Salama, Managing Director of Wilo Saudi Arabia, expressed his enthusiasm for the event: "It's a great pleasure to engage with our customers from both the private and government sectors. This Expo allowed us to demonstrate our latest pumps and systems that are designed to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient and high-performance water solutions in Saudi Arabia."

Supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Localization Efforts

At the heart of Wilo’s participation was its commitment to supporting the kingdom’s Vision 2030, a strategic framework that aims to diversify the Saudi economy and reduce its dependence on oil by promoting sustainable infrastructure and innovation. Wilo's solutions are tailored to meet the needs of the kingdom's transformative projects, from urban developments to industrial facilities.

A key highlight of Wilo’s presentation at the Expo was the company's new assembly factory in Saudi Arabia, which began operations in October 2023. "We are proud to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s localization strategy by having our assembly operations within the kingdom. This not only aligns with the government’s goals but also ensures that we are well-positioned to support the water management needs of local and regional projects," Al Salama added.
