Driving Global Water Investment and Technology Alignment at ADSW, building momentum toward the upcoming UN Water Conference.
As part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2026, Wilo actively participated in the World Future Energy Forum, reaffirming its role as a pioneer in sustainable and intelligent water solutions and a committed partner in the global sustainability agenda.
Contributing to the Water Dialogue at ADSW
Wilo also participated in the Water Dialogue at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, a high-level platform focused on mobilizing public and private investment to accelerate sustainable global water infrastructure. The dialogue brought together policymakers, investors, and technology leaders to align priorities and unlock scalable solutions for water resilience worldwide. This engagement was particularly significant as the United Arab Emirates prepares to host the upcoming UN Water Conference, with Senegal as the co-host country, underscoring the growing global momentum around water security and sustainable water investment.
The keynote and objective-setting session, “Framing the Water Investment Opportunity”, was delivered by H.E. Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister for Energy and Sustainability Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and featured a keynote address by H.E. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of Senegal. The session emphasized the urgent need for coordinated action, innovative financing, and technology-driven solutions to meet growing global water demands.
Strengthening German–UAE Dialogue at the German Pavilion
During ADSW, Wilo had the honor of attending the German Embassy reception at the German Pavilion, where we met H.E. Alexander Schönfelder, German Ambassador to the UAE. The exchange highlighted the strong German–UAE partnership and the shared commitment to advancing sustainability, innovation, and climate action.
