Wilo Levant recently participated in the 7th Arab Water Week, held from May 4–6, 2025, at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre by the Dead Sea, Jordan.
Organized by the Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA) under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, and in collaboration with Jordan’s Ministry of Water and Irrigation, the event gathered over 500 participants from 35 countries, including regional ministers, key decision-makers, and industry experts.
Our participation was marked by dynamic engagement on the exhibition floor and within the technical program. A key highlight was the visit of H.E. Raed Abu Saud, Jordan’s Minister of Water and Irrigation, and H.E. Bertram von Moltke, German Ambassador to Jordan, to the Wilo booth—underscoring the importance of German innovation and public-private collaboration in achieving shared sustainability goals
Visitors experienced the immersive “Wilo-World”, exploring our advanced pumping solutions and integrated technologies for sustainable water management, in application.
Mohammad Abushanab, Country Manager for Jordan and Palestine, took part in a panel discussion on Effective WEFE Nexus Governance for Improved Water Management, and delivered a session dedicated to the Wilo-Emu Port solid separation system, focusing on its role in modernizing wastewater transport infrastructure.
Beyond knowledge sharing, the event facilitated high-impact networking with utility leaders, consultants, and project stakeholders—yielding promising leads and opportunities for strategic collaboration.
Reflecting our ongoing efforts to contribute to smarter, more resilient water infrastructure while deepening our relationships with key institutional and government stakeholders, our participation at the Arab Water Week reaffirmed our commitment to sustainable development in the region.
