Wilo India Strengthens Supplier Sustainability Journey: From Awareness to Action

Driving Sustainable Growth Together

On 9 October 2026, Wilo India organized a Supplier Sustainability Training Program at Ayati Resort, Panchgani, bringing together 106 participants from 45 supplier organizations and Wilo's Strategic Procurement team to strengthen sustainability across the value chain.

The training, delivered by Ms. Prajakta Kandhare from Kognitive Street, covered:

• ESG Fundamentals
• Sustainability Ratings & Rankings
• End-to-End Ecovadis Evaluation Process

A key highlight was the sharing of sustainability success stories by suppliers that successfully achieved Ecovadis medals, providing practical insights and inspiration for fellow suppliers.

Wilo also recognized supplier organizations that demonstrated exceptional commitment to sustainability and actively supported Wilo's ESG objectives.

Launching the Next Step

As part of Wilo's global sustainability initiative, Ms. Vrushali Brahme introduced the IQ Plus Platform, enabling suppliers to receive and complete Ecovadis assessments, with results automatically integrated into SAP Ariba SLP.

With 35% of Wilo India’s spend currently covered by Ecovadis evaluations, this event is a practical step to further increase coverage and support the achievement of our 2026 target.

Strong Engagement and Commitment

The program received highly positive feedback, with suppliers expressing their readiness to begin Ecovadis evaluations and actively contribute to Wilo's sustainability journey.
