During his visit to the Kesurdi plant on 12 February 2026, Mr. Jens Dallendoerfer, CEO – AMEA Region, held an open and constructive dialogue with the Workers’ Union on plant performance and future direction.

The WILO Mather and Platt Employees’ Union extended a traditional Indian welcome to Jens and acknowledged the challenges of 2025, while appreciating the steady growth achieved despite market headwinds. The discussion also covered the 2026 business outlook, with WILO India setting an ambitious sales growth target. Delivering on this ambition will require focused execution, enhanced productivity, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Safety was reaffirmed as a top priority. The Union also reiterated its commitment to strengthening Quality and Process Engineering, fostering a culture of “Zero Defect” and “Right First Time (FTR).”

Wilo India conducted a comprehensive Service Partner Training Program from 16th to 20th February 2026 at its Kolhapur Works, bringing together Service Partners from the South, East, and North Region. The program focused on strengthening technical expertise in Wilo‑manufactured Control Panels for Booster Systems, HVAC applications, and Fire‑Fighting Systems, while aligning partners with Wilo’s future service strategy.

The training began with an address by Mr. Vijayanand Sontakke, Plant Head – KW, setting clear expectations and encouraging open technical dialogue. Hands‑on demonstrations and in‑depth technical sessions, led by Mr. Sushil Chaudhari and Mr. Akshay Damle, covered control panels, troubleshooting techniques, maintenance best practices, and fire‑fighting system applications, enabling participants to build strong practical capabilities.

Hosted at the Wilo Kesurdi plant, the very first Climate Fresk workshop in the AMEA region brought together the global Sustainable Procurement initiative and the regional procurement team from Wilo Mather & Platt.

Hosted at the Wilo Kesurdi plant, the very first Climate Fresk workshop in the AMEA region brought together the global Sustainable Procurement initiative and the regional procurement team from Wilo Mather & Platt.

Reducing our environmental footprint is a key priority at Wilo. In line with our ambitious target to reduce Scope 3.1 CO₂ emissions by 25% by 2030, the Climate Fresk workshop marked an important starting point: building a shared understanding of climate change drivers and the role of CO₂ emissions. The interactive and collaborative Climate Fresk format proved to be a perfect match, bringing together strategic buyers and colleagues from across functions—because decarbonisation is truly a cross‑functional journey.

Strengthening Service Excellence: Nationwide WSP Hands-On Service Training at Wilo’s Kesurdi Plant

Wilo India successfully conducted an intensive Service Training Program for its All-India Wilo Service Partner (WSP) technician team at the DW/Kesurdi manufacturing plant from 13th April to 17th April 2026. The program reaffirmed Wilo’s commitment to continuous capability building, technical excellence, and service reliability across regions.

The training witnessed an overwhelming response, with 47 technician nominations received from across the country. Considering the highly practical nature of the program, the batch was optimized to 35 participants to ensure maximum engagement and effective hands-on learning.

Program Overview

Starting on 13th April 2026, the multi-day training brought together Service Partners from the North, South, East, and West Zones. Designed as a comprehensive hands-on technical upskilling initiative, the program focused on large pumping systems and advanced control panels, covering:

Horizontal Split Case (HSC) Pumps
Multistage Ring Section Pumps
Vertical Turbine (VT) Pumps
Control Panels for small to heavy-duty applications

The training aimed to strengthen service teams’ understanding of operation, installation, maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of pumps, motors, engines, and control panels—ensuring faster response times, reduced downtime, and enhanced customer confidence.

The program was formally inaugurated by Mr. Vimal Vyas and Mr. Akshay Damle, reflecting Wilo India’s shared vision of knowledge sharing, structured skill development, and service excellence.

Project Overview:
Chattogram, a vital urban and commercial center in Bangladesh, faces recurring and severe flooding during monsoon seasons and oceanic high tides. Addressing this critical challenge, the project involves the installation of 21 units of KPR 500-6 + T30-6/48 centrifugal propeller pump sets, designed specifically for large-scale dewatering applications.

In a major step towards clean energy innovation, Wilo India has supplied a comprehensive set of industrial pumps to support operations at the 5 MW Hydrogen Pilot Plant developed by Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) in Khavda, Kutch, Gujarat. Strategically located on the western coastline, the pilot facility utilizes seawater in its green hydrogen production process.

Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL), the green energy arm of Adani Enterprises, has been at the forefront of renewable initiatives since its establishment in June 2021. Focused on the production of green hydrogen, wind turbines, and solar modules, ANIL is positioning itself as a major player in India's low-carbon future.

Wilo India, a trusted name in water management technology, has played a critical role in the plant’s development by supplying a range of high-performance pumps tailored for various applications within the pilot facility. These include water circulation, recirculation, transfer, and neutralization.

Highlights from the Day

Welcome by Hemant Watve, Regional CTO AMEA and CMD India, who shared his perspective on India’s economic and political landscape, aligning it with sustainability strategy of Wilo and showcasing achievements at the Kesurdi plant through concrete examples.

Ajit Ingale, AMEA Supply Chain Manager and Head Procurement India, presented Wilo Group’s Supply chain sustainability strategy, with a deep dive into sustainable procurement, due diligence, and key supply chain KPIs.

Vrushali Brahme, Global Procurement Excellence and Wilo India Sustainability Ambassador, who shared insights about Wilo’s requirement of getting Compliance documents from suppliers and how it’s linked with the sustainability goals and explained SMETA audit process as result of Wilo’s Risk Management Process.

Ms. Wajida Shaikh, a renowned economist and ESG expert –delivered the opening address, commending Wilo’s strong supplier relationships and sharing best practices from across India.

Full Attendance: All 53 invited participants, representing 40 suppliers, were present—many arriving early, reflecting their strong engagement.

Supplier Progress: Several suppliers have already been assessed through EcoVadis, with 4–5 actively improving. Notably, AESSEAL INDIA PVT LTD has achieved net zero status as early as three years ago.

Focus on Suppliers: Emphasis was placed on digitalization and deeper collaboration with both Production Material and Transport Suppliers, leveraging platforms such as ARIBA and SEE BURGER. Several transport sector suppliers also expressed appreciation for the opportunity to engage and align with Wilo’s sustainability vision.

Recognition and Appreciation

Six suppliers were honored with the Caring - Creating - Connecting Awards along with a small plant— which symbolize growth, prosperity, perseverance, and well-being for their outstanding contributions. This award celebrates our unwavering commitment to environmental protection and the successful integration of sustainable practices across our Kesurdi operations.
