Delhi Airport
Airport Authority of India (AAI), Delhi
The Airport Authority of India (AAI) facility at Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi, is a key infrastructure project supporting aviation operations and administrative functions. Such facilities demand highly reliable HVAC systems to maintain optimal indoor conditions for operational efficiency and comfort.
Given the scale and critical nature of airport infrastructure, maintaining consistent cooling, efficient energy usage, and system reliability is essential. Advanced pumping and control systems play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted HVAC performance across the facility. To meet these requirements, Wilo has supplied efficient pumping solutions along with intelligent control systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
System Overview & Technical Performance
The HVAC pumping system at the AAI Safdarjung Airport facility is designed to ensure efficient cooling and reliable operation across the building infrastructure.
Wilo supplied 21 Nos NL (End Suction) pumps integrated with 6 Nos VSPS control panels, enabling precise control and optimized performance of the HVAC system. The pumps ensure consistent flow and pressure for chilled water circulation, which is critical for maintaining stable indoor temperatures.
The VSPS panels enhance system efficiency by enabling variable speed operation, reducing energy consumption, and ensuring smooth system performance under varying load conditions. This integration allows the system to adapt dynamically to operational demands while minimizing wear and tear. The overall solution ensures high reliability, energy efficiency, and long-term operational stability, making it well-suited for critical airport infrastructure where continuous performance is essential.
