Bagdogra Airport

Bagdogra Airport

Bagdogra Airport, located in Siliguri, West Bengal, is the second-largest airport in the state and a critical gateway to North Bengal and the North East. The project, developed by Airport Authority of India (AAI), is poised to play a vital role in improving connectivity and supporting the region’s growth. The airport is being developed with a focus on environmental sustainability, integrating renewable energy systems, passive cooling strategies, and low-emissivity glazing to achieve a net-zero carbon footprint.

Wilo was selected for the supply of various pumping solutions, primarily due to their approved presence in all three key packages of the project, namely HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting. A key factor in the selection was Wilo’s local presence in Siliguri, which ensured seamless execution and smooth coordination across various stages of the project.
