View of skyscrapers in the mumbai city

SAS ITower

SAS ITower is a landmark mixed-use commercial development located in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad—one of the city’s prime business districts. Designed as a Grade A+ infrastructure project, the development integrates premium office spaces, a luxury 5-star hotel, retail zones, a business center, and an executive club within a single high-rise complex.

As one of the tallest commercial structures in the region, the project demands highly advanced fire protection systems capable of delivering consistent performance across multiple elevations. High-rise developments present unique challenges, including vertical water distribution, pressure management, and rapid response requirements across different zones such as basements, intermediate floors, and upper levels.

In such infrastructure, pumping systems play a critical role in ensuring effective fire safety by delivering high-pressure water supply and maintaining system readiness across all levels of the building.

Application & Pumps Used

Fire Fighting Systems:

  • Application: Fire Fighting
  • Segment: Building Services – Commercial (BSC)

Pump Solutions Supplied:

  • Ring Section Pumps

Total Pumps Installed: 19

The fire-fighting system at SAS ITower is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of a high-rise commercial environment. The vertical multistage ring section pumps installed in this project are specifically designed to generate high pressure, enabling efficient water delivery across multiple floors and zones.

These pumps are strategically deployed in basement and intermediate pump rooms, ensuring effective pressure boosting and distribution throughout the building. This zonal approach is critical in high-rise structures, where maintaining consistent pressure at different elevations is essential for reliable fire suppression performance.

The multi-outlet configuration of the pumps allows simultaneous supply to multiple fire safety systems, including hydrants and sprinkler networks, ensuring rapid response during emergency situations. Their high-pressure capability ensures that even upper floors receive adequate water supply without performance loss.

From a performance perspective, the pumps are designed for continuous readiness, minimal pressure fluctuation, and stable operation under varying load conditions. Their robust construction ensures long service life, while efficient hydraulic design minimizes energy losses and enhances operational efficiency.
