Kilokri Sewage Pumping Station
Kilokri Sewage Pumping Station
The 30 MGD Kilokri Sewage Pumping Station, operated by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), is one of the capital city's major terminal sewage pumping facilities. Strategically located at Jal Vihar, Lajpat Nagar, the station plays a vital role in conveying wastewater from South and South-East Delhi to the Okhla Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), supporting efficient wastewater management and improved urban sanitation. Reliable pumping infrastructure is essential to ensure uninterrupted sewage transfer and environmental compliance across this critical network.
To support these requirements, Wilo supplied three high-capacity KN Sewage Pumps engineered for continuous-duty wastewater applications. Designed to deliver dependable performance under demanding operating conditions, these pumps ensure efficient sewage conveyance, operational reliability, and long-term service life, contributing to the sustainable management of Delhi's wastewater infrastructure.
Large-capacity sewage pumping stations form the backbone of urban wastewater infrastructure, enabling the efficient transport of sewage from collection networks to treatment facilities. KN Sewage Pumps are specifically designed to handle high flow rates, solids-laden wastewater, and continuous operation under challenging municipal conditions. Their robust hydraulic design and reliable performance ensure uninterrupted sewage transfer while minimizing maintenance requirements and lifecycle costs. By supporting efficient wastewater transportation, these pumps play a key role in protecting public health and promoting sustainable urban water management.
