Production reliability starts with reliable technology
consumption in production halls is high. Electricity and heating costs are rising, so operating costs continue to increase. Water usage is also becoming more important. Cleaning, cooling, and processing require large quantities of water, while closed systems are increasingly becoming mandatory.
Pumps and their systems are key components of the infrastructure.
If the technology in the facility fails, production stoppages and disruptions to supply chains can be the result. Many plants still rely on older technology that may not meet current efficiency requirements for the respective equipment and may not provide the data required for certain ESG reporting processes. Regulatory measures under the EU Green Deal, such as the Fit for 55 package, and mandatory ESG reporting are increasing the pressure on companies. Energy consumption, emission reduction targets and requirements are becoming increasingly relevant for certain regulated companies. Investors are paying more attention to ESG criteria, customers expect transparent and documented supply chains, and partners require evidence in order to meet their own requirements.
