The company's management team meets to highlight Wilo's comprehensive sustainability strategy.
Dortmund. The Wilo Group brought its management team together for the 29th time at the International General Managers' Meeting (IMGM). This year's management conference, held in the newly opened Networking Cube at the Wilopark in Dortmund, focused on the comprehensive global sustainability strategy of the multinational technology group and the expansion of Wilo's successful strategy from region to region. The theme of IMGM 2024 was therefore “New Perspectives - Embracing the Future: Create, Care, Connect.”
“The sustainability strategy sets the pace for the actions we take,” explains Oliver Hermes, President and CEO of Wilo Group. “At the IMGM, we - the members of the Central Executive Board and the three regional boards of Wilo Group - were able to show how this strategy can also be implemented through the newly created regional structure.” A few weeks ago, the Group announced that it would regionalize and decentralize its entire organizational structure. “In light of this historic transformation, this year's IMGM is a particularly important platform for dialogue, networking and discussion.”
The Networking Cube, officially opened in September 2024, is Wilopark's new meeting center for its market partners. The Group welcomes guests from the worlds of business, politics, society, science and finance to the 5,000-square-meter building, which is part of its headquarters. The Networking Cube houses ample space for dialogue and interaction. The highlight of the new meeting place is a 191-square-meter LED wall with more than 50 million pixels.
