Wilo presents the established submersible pump Wilo-Actun ZETOS with larger hydraulics for particularly demanding applications.

Dortmund/Munich. Wilo is presenting the established submersible pump Wilo-Actun ZETOS with larger hydraulics at the IFAT, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. As part of the Wilo-Actun ZETOS-K12 series, the stainless steel pump has semi-axial hydraulics with a diameter of 12 inches. The larger volume flow of up to 720 m³ per hour makes the new model suitable for particularly demanding applications in industrial and municipal water supply.

The established Wilo-Actun ZETOS series is the ideal solution for efficient raw water intake, municipal drinking water production, agriculture or mining. With a best-in-class pump efficiency of up to 85.5%, it is ideal for energy-saving water supply in virtually all applications. When combined with the highly effective permanent magnet motors, the overall efficiency can be maximised and thus significant energy savings can be made compared to traditional borehole pumps. The tough stainless steel investment casting and the robust design guarantee a long service life and a continuously high level of efficiency, even in difficult conditions.

As with the entire series, the housing parts and impellers of the new Zetos-K12 design are completely made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel investment casting in 1.4408 (AISI 316). The high-quality material means that the pump can also be used with acidic, alkaline or salty water. The wear-resistant and powerful pump with a maximum delivery head of 400 metres is also suitable for a high sand content of up to 100 g/m³, which is ideal for use in mining or geothermal energy.

The Wilo-Actun ZETOS-K12 is suitable for both vertical and horizontal installation. The discharge connection is made with a threaded or flange connection – both optionally with an integrated backflow preventer.
