WiloLATAM stands out through strong regional participation, technical exchange with customers, and institutional presence at the world’s leading water industry event

Munich, Germany. Wilo’s participation at IFAT 2026 once again reinforced the company’s position as one of the leading global players in the water industry. During the event, Wilo reaffirmed its role as a provider of integrated solutions for the entire water cycle, showcasing technologies focused on sustainability, digitalization, and the integration of artificial intelligence into water management.

WATER AI and Digitalization as Pillars of the Global Strategy

Under the strategic concept “Pioneering WATER AI for You,” the company demonstrated how digital transformation is already reshaping the future of the sector. Thousands of international visitors toured the Wilo booth to discover solutions designed to address current and future challenges in water management.

As highlighted by Oliver Hermes, President & Global CEO of the Wilo Group:

“At IFAT, we are demonstrating how this strategy is being put into practice. Artificial intelligence is the key to addressing current and future challenges in water management and represents one of the greatest opportunities for a sustainable water future.”

A Meeting Point for the International Industry

The Wilo booth became one of the main gathering points of the trade fair, generating intense activity and interaction with the international market. Throughout the event, the company distributed 8,000 branded backpacks and hosted five technical presentations on IFAT’s official stages. In addition, 48 guided booth tours were organized, with more than 500 participants attending.

This high level of engagement reflected the market’s growing interest in the company’s integrated solutions and its approach focused on the digital transformation of the water sector.

Strong Regional Presence and Strategic Networking

Latin America and the Caribbean had a particularly strong presence during IFAT 2026. More than 60 guests from the region participated in the guided tours organized by WiloLATAM, with representatives from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, and Mexico.

In addition, executives and representatives from different WiloLATAM sites held an intensive schedule of meetings with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders, driving strategic discussions around current projects and future development opportunities for the region.

Regional participation at IFAT strengthened relationships with strategic customers, promoted technical and commercial exchange, and increased the visibility of Latin America and the Caribbean within one of the water industry’s most important international events.

Technical Visits and Regional Gatherings

In addition to the activities held in Munich, technical visits to Wilo facilities in Hof and Dortmund were also organized during IFAT week. Participants had the opportunity to experience firsthand the company’s production processes, innovation capabilities, and technological developments, as well as the practical application of its solutions in different operational environments.

The regional agenda also included the traditional WiloLATAM Dinner, which brought together more than 52 participants from across Latin America and the Caribbean. The gathering created an opportunity for exchange among customers, partners, and Wilo representatives, strengthening connections and fostering new collaboration opportunities across the region.
