Wilo participated in the Kazakhstan-Germany Business Forum

Wilo participated in the Kazakhstan-Germany Business Forum, which was held as part of the visit by German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event took place on September 16, 2024 in Astana.

The forum featured a presentation of Kazakhstan's investment potential, as well as promising areas for expanding cooperation. Special attention was given to business meetings between Kazakh and German companies, aimed at establishing and developing joint partnerships.

Before the forum started, the President of Kazakhstan and the Federal Chancellor of Germany reviewed an exhibition dedicated to Kazakh-German projects in the energy sector, mechanical engineering, logistics, mining, metallurgy and agriculture. The Heads of States were greeted at the Wilo booth by the Senior Vice President of the Sales Region Emerging Markets, Mr. Jens Dallendoerfer.

Mr. Dallendoerfer mentioned that Wilo is absolutely aware of the significance and importance of its investment in Kazakhstan, especially as a cultural and economic bridge between Central Asia and Europe. “Currently, an active development of a program to produce pumping equipment in the Republic of Kazakhstan is underway, as well as selecting and searching for competent suppliers of components” outlined Mr. Dallendoerfer. Confidence was expressed that thanks to the active support of Oliver Hermes, President & CEO of the Wilo Group, Wilo will continue to strengthen its development and investments in Central Asia.
