A strategic partnership to drive sustainable development and water infrastructure in Guyana
Georgetown, Guyana – Wilo, a global leader in pumping solutions and water management, announced its participation in the Guyana Energy Conference 2025, reaffirming its commitment to the country’s sustainable development. During the event, Wilo introduced its strategic partnership with ZECO Group of Services Inc., a local company with extensive experience in the energy sector.
Wilo’s presence in Guyana is particularly significant in the context of the country’s rapid economic growth, driven by the oil sector and infrastructure modernization. According to Reuters, Guyana’s GDP recorded a 43.6% growth in 2024, reflecting an unprecedented economic boom.
During the conference, the President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, and the Honorable Prime Minister Mark Phillips visited the Wilo and ZECO booth, highlighting the importance of this collaboration in developing innovative solutions for water management and urban infrastructure.
